Bright lovely double room in a garden flat

Hello! We are looking for a person to join us in our lovely flat in Herne Hill/Loughborough Junction. Elisabetta has been renting here for three years, a friend is joining in August and we have a double room available as I (Anna) am moving back to Wales. I'm very sad to be leaving a lovely property and great housemates. The room is a cosy double room, smaller than the others but has plenty of storage and the rent is lower than the other two rooms. This will be available from 8th August.

The house is a 3 bedroom flat including a spacious living and dining room, kitchen with modern finishes, 1 bathroom, as well as a large garden (with a vegetable garden, a BBQ and a recently amazing addition of a SWIMMING POOL) and a small basement. The bedroom advertised has a double bed, a tall double wardrobe, and a small shelving unit.

We are Elisabetta and Andy, very easy-going and good friends who will start living together in August. Eli is an Italian chemical engineer with a lot of other interests (yoga, dancing, gardening, photography, travelling, cooking and more!). Andy is a Scouser, who is a travel agent who loves travelling to experience different cultures, golf, cooking, walking, cycling and lots more!

We are looking for a friendly professional in their 30s to 40s, who ideally enjoys sharing with people and doing things together but also like their own space. We enjoy watching films, cooking and eating together, going to the pub, or off on day trips but also have our own personal space so if that sounds like you, get in touch!

The house is 2 mins walk from Loughborough station, 10 mins from Denmark hill station and 15 mins to Brixton or Herne Hill station. We are also about 5 mins from Ruskin park where you can enjoy a drink at sunset with a nice view of the city, about 10 mins from Brockwell Park and Herne Hill village which has a Sunday farmer’s market and lots of little independent shops & pubs. Dulwich village & park are also not far away!

The bills are around £100-130 and include fibre broadband with Virgin, gas & electricity, water, and council tax.
