Sizable double room in heart of Herne Hill

Unfortunately I've had to move home for a few months leaving a spare double room in a dream house in the heart of Herne Hill with my two 10/10 pals - Lorna and Harriette.

The house itself has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, modern open plan kitchen and dining room with a private garden at the back. It is ideally located under a 5 minute walk to Herne Hill station for the Thameslink service into central London and ~15 minute walk / 5 minute bus into Brixton for the Victoria line. Brockwell park and lido (which includes a gym) are both under a 2 minute walk at the end of the street and there are several pubs including the Prince Regent and the Florence within 5 mins. Herne Hill itself has great amenities including a Tesco, Sainsuburys and several independents - all again within 5-10 mins - as well as numerous cafes and an unrivaled Sunday market every week.

The room itself has a double bed, chest of drawers and bedside table, built in wardrobe and decorative shelving unit. For working from home purposes, I also have a desk and chair I can put in the room that matches all the furniture if you wish. It is on the first floor and overlooks the garden so super quiet - no noise disturbance at all which is a rare find in London.

You'll be living with Harriette and Lorna - both 28 year old professionals who are chilled out and always up for a laugh. They keep the house very tidy, cook unbelievable meals and enjoy all the usual things.

A typical weeknight would be spent cooking together and binging the latest Netflix series, having a pint at the local pub or heading to one of our favourite local food spots (with POP and Brixton market on your doorstop you're spoilt for choice!) Weekends consist of eating brunches, lunches, meeting up with friends for drinks or dinner and watching more Netflix with a bottle of red on a Sunday.

The girls are happy to be as sociable as you want to be - we are a pretty close house with a great close friendship group that we would love to welcome you into but equally, if you have your own friends or would rather be less involved but are chilled and tidy then that works too.

Ultimately looking for someone who's like minded, easy going and up for a laugh.
