THE ROOM
A large double with period fireplace, built-in shelving and sash window, the room also comes furnished with a bed, large chest of drawers and wardrobe. The window is west-facing, looking onto our quiet patio and letting in lots of afternoon sunshine, but has a blackout blind — handy for those morning lay-ins.

THE HOUSE
Victorian terrace house with wooden floors, lots of character and a working fireplace. The ground floor has a large living and dining room, a separate large kitchen and a garden/patio area at the back with a barbecue that’s great for entertaining in the summer.

The house sits on a quiet road just 10 minutes-walk away from the centre of Brixton and, when you fancy a slower pace of things, leafy Herne Hill and Brockwell Park are just five minutes-walk away in the opposite direction — with a fantastic selection of restaurants, pubs and a weekly farmers’ market.

THE HOUSEMATES
You’ll be moving in with Steve and Theo. We’ve both got our own social life and interests, but we also like to treat the house like a home and hang out together when we can — entertaining friends for dinner or a glass of wine together in front of the TV. We’re after a clean, respectful and sociable person to join us — ideally someone who's happy to join us on the odd trip to the pub., post Lockdown obvs! :).

THE DETAILS
Moving date: 12th June 2020
Rent: £750 pcm
Bills: £120 approx. Includes all utilities, cleaner every fortnight, Virgin TV and broadband and a basic shop for the house (eg kitchen roll, washing up liquid, etc)

References and credit checks are applicable, but we deal directly with the landlord, so no annoying agency fees. Deposit of £833 and one month’s rent are required on moving in/signing the contract.
