Large double w/ensuite in huge Herne Hill flat

We're saying farewell to our brilliant housemate who has moved in with her partner, so we have a room available in our huge split level Victorian flat.

It's a large double bedroom with a bay window, a decent amount of storage and its own en suite bathroom with rain shower. It's located a 5min walk from Herne Hill & 10min from Brixton.

-Us-

We're two laid back male mates. At the moment Rob (owner of the flat) is living in Spain until the summer due to the pandemic. We're both professionals working for startups. We are friendly and sociable at the weekends, and like to occasionally have friends over for dinner or a BBQ in the garden. That said, we both work long hours with busy schedules, so we've both got our own space. In our spare time we're into cooking, cycling, running, crossfit, gigs, etc. One of us is straight, and the other is gay and in a long term relationship.

-You-

We're looking for a likeminded person, ideally with a similar schedule and who's up for being sociable. That said, if you're the kind of person who likes to do your own thing, that's no issue. We're happy to live with a guy or a girl.

The flat is an amazing space and so we like to keep it tidy/clean and feeling zen. We're looking for someone who's on the same wave length.

-The Place-

It's a 3 bed Victorian conversion flat which was recently renovated to a high standard. It has a large light & airy living / dining room with high ceilings and double doors out into the private back garden. The garden's got a sunny deck and grass, great for BBQs and breakfasts at the weekend.

The bedroom is bright with a bay window and a period fireplace. It's furnished (double bed with brand new mattress, chest of draws, wardrobe and a large chest), but if you have your own furniture we can work something out. There's plenty of space if you'd like to add a desk to work at.

The room has its own high-spec ensuite, with large walk-in rain shower.

-Location-

We live on a leafy street right by Brockwell Park, which is awesome for lazy days in the sun or morning runs before work. There's an outdoor swimming pool, a cafe and gym less than a minute away. It's a short walk to a large supermarket and to Herne Hill (with a great farmer's market every Sunday).

It's super easy to get to Central London, 10min walk to Brixton station (Oxford Circus in 10min) and 5min walk to Herne Hill station (Blackfriars or Victoria in 10min). It's also well connected for London Gatwick and Luton Airport.

-The other stuff-

Available immediately. We're hoping to find a housemate who would want to live here for at least 6 months. The room would be available for a year initially, but it could be longer depending on how our life circumstances change.

£850p/m + bills.

Bills usually work out at £120p/m including a cleaner who comes every two weeks, internet, utilities, house essentials (toilet paper, cleaning stuff).

We'd be happy to live with someone who's looking for a Monday to Friday let for £650 p/m.
