Huge King Size room in Herne Hill

The largest room in our home is soon to be available. The official move in date is around the 1st of June but could be negotiated a bit earlier with the outgoing housemate, but on the 1st of June we will be signing a new 1 year contract.

It’s a huge space with lots of natural light, south facing, on the 1st floor. It has a super-king bed, double fitted wardrobes and 3 tall windows (the light is amazing!!). It’s an ideal room if you need to work from home and need your own space while working.

The house is a classic red brick Victorian London home; 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with garden. We have two bathrooms and you’ll be sharing with only one other housemate.

The kitchen is big, modern and airy - great if you like cooking, eating and for dinner parties. The rear of the kitchen faces onto the garden with bi-fold doors that open the entire way across the kitchen into the garden.

The lounge gets the afternoon sun, and is a nice cosy spot to watch a movie or a doc, pop on a record or read a book, which we all occasionally do. The garden is great - we’ve got an apple tree and there’s plenty of space for summer BBQs.

There’s a fairly eclectic mix of people in the house, working in the film, design and civil service industries. We are a fairly chilled house and try to keep things clean and tidy. We also have a cleaner once a month to do the deep cleans.

Most of us now are splitting work between our offices and home but there is also a large office space that we share.
It’s a pretty social environment. Like everyone in London, we’re all busy and do our own things too, but it’s fair to say we’re looking for someone who’s friendly and sociable.

We’re a 5 minute walk from Herne Hill station and Brockwell park, and a 10 minute bus journey/cycle to Brixton.

Bills are around £150 per person.

Couples are welcome but at £100 extra to the room.

No estate agent fees - rented direct with landlord.
