Huge En-suite In Friendly House Flexible Move Date

Living Room

We are looking for a fabulous new housemate to join us in our incredible 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on Pond Square in the middle of Highgate Village. It is available immediately but we have the flexibility to wait for the right person with moving dates right up until August!

The room on offer is a massive en-suite that is currently unfurnished but there is a large glass desk and chair available if you're interested in keeping them. The dimensions of the room are 14 foot x 12 foot with a 6 foot x 3 foot extra area/hallway inside the bedroom. The en-suite comes with a sink, toilet, shower (with a skylight) and storage cupboards. Our previous housemate (who still loves us very much but moved to live with her partner) had a double bed, a very large desk, two lots of wardrobes plus another large storage unit that fit into the room quite comfortably along with her large plant collection!

The rest of the house is big with high ceilings and furnished (by me) to a high standard. We have a large living room that comes with all the amenities including a large TV, Nintendo Switch, all the streaming services, surround sound connected to the TV and a turntable if you're interested in playing vinyl. The Kitchen/Dining area is also big with a large dining table and plenty of space to hang out and socialise in. There is a small outdoor terrace area at the front of the house that we use to sit outside in the sun. The property has stairs to the second floor with the bedrooms and bathrooms and stairs up to the front door.

The location is great and we are seconds from all the shops on the high street, about 8 minutes walk from Hampstead Heath and 2 minutes walk from Waterlow Park. There are so many incredible pubs and places to eat, including the famous Flask pub just around the corner. Transport is great with bus stops right next to us that go into Camden, Islington, King Cross and central and the northern line either a 10-minute walk away at Highgate or 15-minute walk to Archway station.

AND NOW THE IMPORTANT STUFF...

You will be living with a couple Emily (she/her) and Becca (she/her). We are both sociable, fun and easy going. Emily works as a creative in the music industry and Becca works as a developer in tech. Both of us love anything creative, fashion, taking advantage of London and its culture, music, skateboarding, queer culture, cooking, eating out and also chilling at home watching films and Netflix.

We'd love to find someone who fits in well with the house dynamic. We are looking for someone who could be a friend as well as a housemate. We obviously do not expect to socialise all the time and everyone has their own things going on and we are totally respectful of that and alone time. The house is our pride and joy and is looking for someone who also respects it and is clean, tidy and happy to pitch in.

Bills are currently on average around £130 - £150 p/m.
