Large Double Room in Friendly Flat

Your room!

Hi! We are a Canadian/American couple looking for a friendly, sociable flatmate to share our two bed flat in Hither Green. The room is large and bright with high ceilings, a big bay window and a large built in closet. There is also a shared lounge that we hope you'll use with us to binge watch netflix and eat lots of home cooked meals, as well as a large garden/patio that is shared with the upstairs neighbors.
We have both been living in London for many years and know this area well, so can recommend the best spots to eat, drink and generally hang out. I am a PhD student based at the Natural History Museum, and Katie is a nurse by training, but now mostly works in public health overseas, and as such she is often out of the country.
We like to keep the common areas tidy and clean, and hope you are keen to do the same. We love animals and would be happy if you’d like to bring a cat to live with us, but sorry, no dogs.
We have furnished the flat, with the exception of your room and the landlord has said he is happy to remove items as required when you move in. There is also storage space in the basement if you need it.
Hithergreen station is a 10 minute walk, Ladywell station is about 15 minutes, and Lewisham is about 20 minutes, so there are plenty of transport and shopping options close by.
