Huge double room (4m X 3.3m) available with gorgeous bay window and original wooden floors. Sharing with just one other (me) in a lovely Victorian terraced house.

The bright, sunny room boasts plenty of space to add a desk (should you be working from home), a storage bed with new cushion top mattress, built in shelving and plenty of additional cupboard space. If you have your own furniture, some or all of the furniture in the room can be relocated to accommodate you.

You will be sharing with myself, a professional woman in my early 40s and my three friendly cats. I am easy going and sociable yet respectful of your space and time. I’m looking to find a professional who wants a home, not just a house. Someone who likes animals, understands the etiquette of living with others, who is clean, tidy, respectful and enjoys a chat over a drink and a meal. I love cooking, music, travel, fashion, architecture and design. I adore dining out and finding new amazing places to eat.

I am a pescatarian but happy to live with a meat eater or vegan alike. I'm a non-smoker and it is a no smoking house, however smokers are welcome if you are happy to only smoke in the garden.

The house has a great sized, kitchen/diner with dishwasher and all appliances/utensils, separate living room with attached bright, light sunroom. There is a big bathroom including a bath, should you be a bath lover. There is also large, paved garden with lights, mature plants, outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Perfect in the summer for relaxing and socialising with friends.

Other amenities include fast WiFi, washer, dryer, garden shed and loft (for additional storage).

The Local Area:
There is a great corner shop/off license less than 1 minute from the house, perfect for grabbing a bottle of beer/wine or if you run out of milk. 5 minutes away you will find a Sainsbury’s local, Nisa, great local restaurants and coffee shops plus the Hither Green Hotel, which has a fantastic beer garden in the summertime.

Lewisham Shopping Centre is a 10 minute walk from the house where you will find major stores such as TK Maxx, Marks and Spencer, H&M, Argos, Sainsbury’s and Boots. There is also a daily food market where you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables and seafood incredibly cheaply. Three major gyms: Pure Gym, Anytime Fitness and The Gym London, a More Yoga studio plus multiple other smaller fitness studios. Also walking distance from the house are an additional large Sainsbury’s and a Lidl.

25 to 30 minutes walk you will find yourself in beautiful Blackheath, full of incredible bars and restaurants plus a great local farmer’s market each Sunday.

Lewisham University Hospital is a 15 minute walk.

Manor Park is a couple of minutes from the front door, Manor House Gardens just 10 minutes away, to name just a couple of the lovely parks in the area.

I have lived here for the past 6 years and absolutely love the house and area. The landlords are fantastic and deal with any issues in a professional and timely manner.

The room has become available as my housemate is moving in with his partner.

Bills will be split equally between us. Energy and water bills are subject to change due to usage and rate increases, however the house has a brand new boiler, with thermostat and timer, plus a smart meter, which makes it easy to keep an eye on usage and costs.
