Double Room in homey flat for Vegan / Vegetarian

Hello prospective flatmate!

I'm Rebecca, 26, weirdo, and I have a room available to rent in my duplex flat. I'm looking for someone who wants to create a home with me, who’s down for socialising, cooking, sharing household chores and generally not being a pain to live with. Sounds like you? Great!
I'm open to a flatmate who isn't veggie if we have a bunch of similar interests as long as you're respectful, and provide your own kitchen bits to cook with. If loving bacon is a personality trait of yours- we’re probably not a match I’m afraid.

I'm a vegan of 6 years, but not a preachy one- catch me at live music events, art events, keeping it queer in soho and anything with nature. Currently building Kew 2.0 in the living room. I’m a mean scrabble opponent and not a facist which is always good to know.

I do drink and smoke (no smoking in flat) and can on occasion burn that candle at each end simultaneously… but overall living my best adult life and more interested in living in peace and harmony- the flat should be our haven.

I'm described as being positive and a workaholic by my friends.
I work veeeery long hard hours in Hackney as a retail manager, so am not home all the time so it's important for me to find someone who I can really vibe with when I'm home. You may spot me coming home with wine in tow and up for nattering/ card games/ the odd Netflix binge.
Being respectful of privacy is super important to me, we all need time to shut off and recharge, so we wouldn't suit if you're someone who needs a lot of attention, nothing wrong with that- I just differ :)

The room is a double with a built in wardrobe and storage above, carpet, electric heater and it can come with or without a bed. I can provide some other furniture if you need. There's storage around the flat, and I'd be happy for you to decorate and make it feel like your home too.
There is one bathroom, with shower and bath. Separate kitchen and a living/dining room (which is more spacious than pic suggests). There is a huge communal balcony that I'm going to try and kit out for summer time chilling/yoga.
The flat gets great light, opposite a GP practice, 10 minute walk to Waitrose/ Morrisons/ Lidl/ Tesco/cinema/bars/restaurants/venues

In these weird Covid times, being so close to Finsbury Park/ Clissold Park and Alexandra Palace is a nice bonus.
When the city is up and running again you can always bank on that Victoria night tube to get you home safely after whatever escapades you’ve had in the centre.

The location is fantastic and the local amenities are great, and for the area the price is fantastic. Let me know if you have any other questions!

My current flatmate has to unfortunately move out as she'll start a placement year for uni abroad, she has installed a loft bed that she will remove so the pictures of the room are from before she moved in.
The mattress and carpet are a year old only.
I only have this super hipster looking picture of the living room but when I get a chance I can take more pictures.

Move in date is flexible from the 8th as I will hold out to make sure we are destined to live together haha

If you're a student the rent is £750- if a professional £775 (all bills included) as I am only charging for the difference in council tax I would pay without single occupant discount.
