This is a lovely, airy, loft conversion room in a large Victorian house close to Victoria Park, with great transport connections and lots to do in this cool part of London. It's a Monday-to-Friday let.

The room

It's a large, newly redecorated double room with a contemporary ensuite shower and WC. It's bathed in loads of natural light, with views of the surrounding area, and has a Juliet balcony that overlooks the garden. There's a big wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a bedside table and an armchair. All bills, including broadband, are included and the room is available immediately. Additionally, there's another room on the same floor that's available in the evenings to watch TV or relax in.

The house

We're in a friendly cul-de-sac, close to Homerton Overground station and minutes from Victoria Park. There's a large kitchen with a range cooker, microwave, a huge fridge and plenty of storage space. There's also a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Outside, there's a beautiful courtyard garden with a big BBQ.

Cycle storage is provided and on-street permit parking is available if you have a car.

About us

You'll be sharing with a gay male couple. We work hard during the week and tend to chill out at home in the evenings. We're looking for someone who's friendly and easygoing. LGBT, straight, male or female – all welcome.

Smoking is permitted in the garden and at the back door, but no smoking is allowed in the rest of the house.
