Double canal-side room in fun & sociable flat

Hi, we're Rich & Tom; we're both moderately professional working in tech and government and we're looking for someone similar to replace our current flatmate who is sadly moving out.

As we're expecting to be spending a lot of time at home over the coming winter due to COVID restrictions we'd really like to find someone we get on with well and enjoy socialising with, and we're really flexible with the move-in date to find the right person.

The flat is a modern build, full of house plants and has a beautiful balcony overlooking the canal and Hackney Marshes. There's also a free on-site gym and concierge who collects packages. The room has a double bed, a desk, wardrobe and chest of drawers and gets loads of natural light. We also have mad gigabit symmetric internet so you can download a film in a couple of minutes or be on as many COVID-safe working from home zoom calls as you can manage.

There's a small shop in the building for emergency supplies plus we're a short walk from the Here East canal-side bars, the breweries and bars in Hackney Wick and the sports facilities in the Olympic Park. The marshes themselves are also excellent for an ambitious morning run.

About us: when around after work and aren't feeling like introverted alone evenings we like to socialise; watch films, play games on the Switch, attempt to wine-and-dine. We often go to the local pub for the quiz when its allowed.

Richard also plays online games on the PC and reads a fair bit and Tom plays the guitar.

We keep the place fairly tidy but aren't too obsessive over it; there's also a cleaner over every week to keep things from getting out of control.

We're both working from home every day for the foreseeable future but there's plenty of space for everyone plus time for a bit of binge-watching TV or relaxing on the marshes if we synchronise lunch breaks.

All the bills are included including cleaner.
