Double room on Homerton High Street

We’ve got a good-sized, double-room in our house on Homerton High Street available from June 1. We’re about a 6 minute walk from Homerton Station, right by Chatsworth Road, Hackney Marches and the canal. The room is unfurnished (like the house when we moved in!) so you’ll be able to really make the space your own. The room is £685pcm + bills.

ABOUT US:
For the sitcom introduction: we’re two women and a gay guy (aged 26-29) making our way through life in the city. We’re a friendly, social household and we’ve lived together for a year. We’ve definitely made this place into a home and enjoy hanging out with each other when we’re home. We’re also a pretty creative household and usually at least one of us is working on a project, so we’re respectful of giving each other space. Two of us work in tech content and the other works in the charity sector - and we’re all currently working hybrid, so between 1-3 days a week in the office.

ABOUT THE HOUSE:
The house is a really good size - with a massive kitchen (with every kind of kitchen gadget you can imagine), living room, big garden, two bathrooms, and a basement. We’re on Homerton High Street and there’s always people about, so it feels very safe. We’ve got double glazing so there’s not too much noise either, and the room faces the garden at the back of the house. We get on well with our neighbours (they give us plants sometimes and we bake them cakes sometimes). We’re pretty near a couple of corner shops and many parks.
From an accessibility standpoint - the house has one step on entrance and the room is on the first floor.

ABOUT YOU:
We’re looking for a nice, friendly, chill person to come and join our house and help shape it. We all definitely have our own lives, but we really value the positive energy in the house - so ideally we want someone who we can make friends and feel comfortable with. Definitely a plus if you have some creative interests, like movie nights, or watching trash tv with a minimum of three different types of crisps open on the table. The landlord requires referencing also.
