Hi, I'm Kieran, a 32 year old working in politics. I'm interested in playing sports/keeping fit, politics, philosophy, and travelling. The room is available now, as my current flatmate is moving out because of a change of job.

The flat is in a modern purpose-built block in a quiet cul-de-sac in east Hackney. I do have two cats, so being ok with pets is necessary. But they're very friendly and low maintenance. The area's very chilled out, and right next to Victoria Park one one side and the Olympic Park on the other, which is great if you want a nice place to go for a jog or relax in the summer.

The flat has a two bedrooms, a large living room and separate kitchen, and a bathroom with a bath and shower. The room is £500pcm. All bills and fibreoptic broadband are included in the rent. The room includes a large wardrobe and a double bed.

I'm a pretty clean and tidy person, so I like the flat to have a decent clean once a week. I'd also be ok with splitting the bill for a cleaner if that's something you'd be interested in.

The flat’s an 8 minute walk to Homerton station, from which it's 15 minutes to King’s Cross or 8 minutes to Stratford and the Westfield shopping centre. It’s also a 5 minute walk to buses to central London (30, 26, N26, 388) and a 5 minute bus/15 minute walk to Hackney Central.
