Bright Spacious Double Room in Sociable Hornsey

We are Sam, Vanessa and Sarah, three relaxed and outgoing friends looking for someone similar to find not just a room, but a home as unfortunately, our housemate Mega needs to move back with her family.

We have a beautiful (and big) double room available in a stunning new build townhouse on the border between Crouch End and Hornsey, complete with roof terrace overlooking Alexandra Palace.

THE HOUSE
This is a high spec terraced house in a private court off the main road. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a WC, plus a huge kitchen/dining room, separate lounge, garden and roof terrace (with stunning views over Alexandra Palace). Shared spaces are fully furnished.

THE ROOM
The room is a very good size (4m x 3.8m), with amazing natural daylight. It is on the second floor, carpeted with a large shared bathroom (sharing with one person only). Officially the room is unfurnished, however Mega, who is leaving our little family, brought brand new furniture six months ago and is open to selling it.

THE AREA
The house is a short walk from Hornsey High Street and Crouch End with an array of lovely cafes, shops, pubs and restaurants within a few mins walk. The bus stop is 30 seconds away and Hornsey Train Station is a 10-15 min walk. Priory Park is across the road and Alexandra Palace is 10 min walk.

THE HOUSEMATES
We are three ladies, a well behaved cat (that is quite the flirt) and a tortoise. Sam and Vanessa have known each other for three years, and found Sarah through Spare Room in 2019 and feels like she’s known them the whole time :)
We’re quite chilled and have a glass of wine/beer together after a busy day when our plans sync, although right now we often cook, eat or watch TV together, but have time to ourselves too. On weekends we tend to have our own plans, but hang out when we can, having house nights out or Sunday roasts together.

YOU
We're looking for someone laid back, fun, clean and tidy that wants to feel a part of a little house family. Ideally, you’d be someone that has their own life but wants to hang out and chat over a drink :)

We're looking to meet potential housemates over zoom to see if we get on before doing physical viewings - socially distanced, of course.
