Double Room in Amazing Islington Townhouse

Hello househunters,

I sadly have to leave my room in this amazing house as I have moved job to the other side of London. (the pictures are from when we first got the house so it's decorated since but mostly the same).

The House:

- Amazing Kitchen with every appliance and gadget a prospective masterchef could want. A beautiful wee island in the middle where we have brekkie and a chat
- Terrace and Garden with loads of plants and an outdoor tables and chairs. BBQ central in the Summer and really good for socialising with a glass of wine in the evening
- 4 bedrooms- the one on offer is mine which is the smallest but a decent size for London with high ceilings and a big window which looks out on the garden so not much noise from traffic. I have a bed and chest of drawers which are mine but can sort out something if you want to keep them.
- 3 bathrooms: One on the second floor with a shower, Mark has an ensuite on the 1st floor and a huge bathroom with a beautiful stand alone bath on the 1st floor which is basically only used by me most of the time. Another small loo downstairs so there's never any congestion for showers in the morning
- Living room- Huge TV, sound system, record player, the most comfortable green couch and plants everywhere. We like to chill out here with some tea and watch John Oliver etc.

The People:

- Georgia: Kiwi gal working as a Director in an event company in central London. Loves a glass of vino, yoga, mindfullness and travelling. Obsessed with hummus and chocolate (not together). Glamorous by nature with a laid back Kiwi style

- Chris: Aspiring Attenborough photographer who is always off to the next far flung country to take some amazing pics. Also full-time house handyman and a very skilled carpenter and fixer of things. Loves decorating for a party. Give him a theme and he will run with it.

- Mark: Super well travelled IT guru at a large corporate in the City. Can often be found doing a mini tour de France around London and is the owner of a beautiful bike which is hanging up like a piece of art. Fan of Sunday night Jazz in Camden and sailing in the Summer. Also a Kiwi that enjoys a chat and a tea. First port of call for any ask IT concerns that we all have.

Mulder & Scully: Chris's babies. Brother and Sister Cat which have lived here since we got the place. Mulder is constantly hungry and will pretend that he has not been fed by Georgia in the morning. Also the fluffier of the two. Scully is quieter but cunning. Uses her cuteness for selective cuddles and general mischief.

Bills work out to 92 p/m. Included in this is everything (heat, gas, council tax etc) AND a cleaner AND all the tea/coffee/spices/cooking oils/cleaning stuff- basically anything communal so you don't have to worry about loo roll as we just do a monthly online shop with everything we need. Super fast wifi in the house as well and we have a shared Netflix account linked up to the telly as well as 100s of shows and films downloaded (legally...?)

The Area:

- Finsbury Park tube is a 7 min walk away with the Victoria and Piccadilly as well as National Rail to Gatwick and Moorgate
- The Swimmers, Owl & Hitchhiker, Faltering Fullback are around the corner and some really nice restaurants on Stroud Green Road. Also some fantastic coffee & food options at the Junction
- 10 mins by bus to Highbury & Islington
- 5-10 min walk to a huge Morrison's, Waitrose and Sainsbury's and a tescos and small shop 5 mins walk away in either direction
- Bus Stop 2 mins away with buses straight to Hackney, Greenlanes and Waterloo
