Two Rooms available: one large double & one single

Room 1

The large room has enough space for an armchair and sofa, plus has an ensuite with a shower. £1,100pcm + bills. The small room will share the upstairs bathroom. £500 + Bills. Bills are about £300 a month in total so it would depend on if the room is split between 2 or 3.

The two rooms advertised are where I've been living for the last year. I took one as a home office but before that it was a single bedroom.
The house has a patio overlooking some allotments and the Imperial War Museum.

About me: I have lived in the area for about 5 years and my current housemate is moving back to Italy. I'm in the civil service and travel a lot for work. I was at home a lot before but now I no longer need a home office and I'll be moving to a smaller room.

I love to cook and go to the theatre. This house is amazing for both because it has a great big kitchen and living area, has great transport links and you can even walk to most theatres.

I speak French and Arabic (Levantine) and being able to chat in those around the house would be an advantage.

I'm looking for someone/people who are sociable and enjoy sharing a wine and some music while making dinner, but not needing to hang out everyday. I would find it difficult living with someone who was either messy or a neat freak.

My current housemate is taking most of the furniture with him so there's scope for a lot of redecoration. It's available from 1st August but can be available earlier if needed. We'll be sharing a joint contract so we can discuss exactly how we split up the bills.
