Queens Park is in Zone 2 near Kensal Rise, Kilburn and Ladbroke Grove. It's a lovely area, full of young families, safe and well served by public transport.

The room we're letting in our friendly home is clean, bright and really beautiful, has a large window (south facing) and is a good size (4m x 4m). The rent includes all gas, electricity, heating, council tax and fast fibre broadband (Zen).

Basically what we have is a big, 6 bedroom townhouse and we let out 2 rooms. We're pretty easy-going owners (Actress and Producer) and live completely separately in the house, occasionally with our two daughters (21 year-old studying art in Newcastle and 27year-old in music industry). You have your own clean and modern kitchen and bathroom you only have to share with the other professional lodger.

From experience, quiet, responsible, clean, tidy and easy-going professionals fit in best.

If you don't know the area, Queens Park is very civilised and is full of creative professionals (lots of actors and musicians, etc.). Although close to central London (2.9 miles to Marble Arch), it is a quiet and leafy oasis.

The beautiful Queens Park itself (with cafe, tennis courts, boules pitch, table tennis, pitch and putt golf course, etc.) is at one end of the street and nearby are great cafes, bookshops, clothes shops, delis, bars, pubs, restaurants and renowned Sunday farmers market. Also Panet Organic, M&S, Tesco and Sainsbury supermarkets. The Special Yoga Centre is at the other end of the street and we also are close to the Lexi, one of London's loveliest boutique cinemas. The area has been described by Vogue as having "the Trendiest High Street in Europe" so there 😂

Very easy access to central London from Queens Park or Kensal Green tubes stations or buses 6, 28, 36, 52, 452, 187, 206, 302, 316, 215 and others. Also moments from Kensal Rise overground station (Stratford to Richmond and Clapham) and direct trains to Westfield in Shepherd's Bush (10 minutes door-to-door).
