Art loving? Theatre lover? ? Beautiful Victorian house, quiet and friendly atmosphere.. We will have a vacancy for a new female housemate; sunny room with it’s own roof terrace, share shower room with one other. We have a large luxury kitchen (but NO microwave, sorry!!), You would share a fridge with one other, and we all use the breakfast/dining room. Lovely South facing garden, quiet, private and sunny.. a haven of peace in a busy city. There are four bathrooms, five bedrooms, in this house, and it feels spacious . We are not crowded here, nor are we a Party House. It’s easy to have your privacy. This is a real home. Sit in the garden whenever it suits you! Being clean and tidy and good at loading and unloading a dishwasher is vital!

Single ladies, aged 29 - 36 only, no couples. No smokers . Previous housemates include scientists, doctors, architects. No working from home, please! I am happy to wait for the right person to fit in with the household. .

We are all professionals and live with our live-in landlady who has had a long career in the world of theatre and is currently still working. Current ladies here are - an IT specialist working at Guildhall, a PHD student at LSE, and a Portuguese eye scientist. We are quiet, civilised and friendly.

Also included in the rent is weekly cleaning lady, who changes your bedlinen and towels. All linen and towels are provided (good quality 100% cotton ), plus loo rolls for your bathroom. All bills included .

Interests include galleries, museums, Theatre visits, classical music and gardening .. It's a short 4 minute walk to the wide open spaces of Clapham Common, where you can go running or take part in the many sports activities there. If you have a bicycle you can store it in the large shed in the garden.

Six bus routes within 2 mins walk of the house - 156, 77, 87, 345, 137, 452.

Tube stations - Clapham Common, Nine Elms, Battersea Power Station, Vauxhall, Sloane Square.

Overground and Rail - Clapham Junction Station, Wandsworth Road, Queenstown Road, Vauxhall.

We don't generally have visiting friends as it makes the house too crowded, but it's possible to have a very occasional overnight friend by arrangement.
