The room also has a new modern door and its own lock and key.
There are two bathrooms. The main bathroom is situated next to your own room, and has a toilet with concealed cistern, a beautiful counter-top sink, a mirrored bathroom cabinet, a second mirror, a full-size bath and two showers. The pretty downstairs bathroom has a shower, toilet and small sink.
There’s a large state-of-the-art kitchen full of brand new Miele appliances, including an oven, microwave, induction hob, extractor fan, dishwasher and washing machine. You’ll have your own Miele fridge with freezer compartment in the kitchen, and your own food cupboard too.
Pretty much every invention available is in the kitchen, including three pairs of digital scales, a Nutribullet, an electric citrus juicer, an electric potato masher, a hand stick blender, all kinds of gadgets, saucepans, baking tins, colanders, Tupperware and a spice rack. There’s also a tea cupboard, a teapot, a rose gold coffee cafetière, a milk frother and a coffee grinder.
Next to the kitchen is a dining area with a gorgeous John Lewis glass dining table and six different coloured modern acrylic gel dining chairs.
There’s a large living room with a Dwell white leather sofa and a 49" Smart television with YouTube, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Freeview, along with all the usual channels. I also have a Netflix subscription which you are welcome to use.
There’s also a garden, with two sheds (great for storage) and a Made set of three funky green chairs, including a comfy hanging garden chair, along with a little table for drinks.
There's a small office with a desk and stationery cupboards, in case you need to work.
There’s super-fast fibre-optic broadband. There's also a wifi range extender, so although it's a big house you'll be able to get wifi in every part of it.
ABOUT THE HOUSEMATES
I’m Charlotte, the friendly live-in owner. I'm a professional author and work from home. It's just me here except for at weekends and school holidays, when my very cute eight-year-old daughter comes to stay. I'm fun, good-natured and easygoing - I've even been known to be funny on occasion! If a problem arises, let me know and I'll fix it super-quickly. I like chatting in the kitchen over a cup of tea and occasionally sharing a meal.
ABOUT THE AREA
The house is 10 minutes' walk from Leytonstone Central Line station, which is 5 minutes from amazing Westfield Stratford City shopping centre with all the shops you could ever want, as well as being 14 minutes from Liverpool Street on the Tube and 24 minutes from Oxford Circus.
We are also 5 minutes’ walk away from Leytonstone High Road station, with its connections to the Victoria line (Blackhorse Road) and District and Hammersmith and City lines (Barking).
In addition, we're a few minutes’ walk from Leytonstone High Road with all its shops and amenities, including both a large and a small Tesco, a Costa, an Argos, a Boots, a Matalan, an Iceland, a DIY store, Leytonstone library and a Poundland. There’s also a good value gym with great facilities just round the corner, where I'm a member.
I’d like the room to be taken by a responsible and friendly person who will be kind to me and my daughter, appreciate living here and keep the house looking beautiful. The house is quiet, as is the street (it's a sedate residential area) so it would suit people who like quiet and calm (though it's close to transport and shops).
I'm of course very happy for you to have a boyfriend or girlfriend over to stay whenever you like, but they can't actually live here (for boring financial reasons involving capital gains tax!)
