Double room with ensuite 2 mins from London Bridge

Sadly, our flatmates are moving out of a spacious double room with ensuite bathroom within a modern 2 bed flat due to job locations.

We are primarily looking for a friendly, young professional couple/single person who we can get along with, have a chat with after work and enjoy an occasional drink/meal.

THE ROOM

The room is pretty big, has an ensuite bathroom (shower and toilet) and is fully furnished with a double bed, 2 wardrobes and 2 chest of drawers. It also has a joint balcony that can be accessed from both bedrooms.

THE FLAT

The flat is really spacious with a fully kitted kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave etc.) and a big living room (open plan). The smaller bedroom is occupied by ourselves.

Bills are shared between all flatmates and come to about £150 per room (council tax, broadband, electricity, gas and water) in total.

It is in a prime, central location: 2 minutes from London Bridge station, 5 minutes from Borough Market and the Thames with a big Tesco Metro across the road.

The flat is managed by an estate agent so there will be referencing fees. The room is available from 15th August and we've been renting the property since August 2018. The new contract is until August 2021 however there is a anytime 2 month break clause which offers some flexibility.

THE ROOMATES

We’re Jess and John, a young professional couple working in the arts sector. We’re pretty easy going, tidy and would like find a couple who we can be friends with, rather than just housemates.

Jess works for a classical music charity and John is a freelance music director. We used to enjoy going to all the live events London had to offer including plays, live music and musicals before lockdown. We now enjoy a bit of cooking and binge watching TV series instead! We’d love to find an equally sociable couple who are also respectful of each other’s privacy when needed.
