We have a lovely double room in our canal-side flat, less than 1 min from Victoria Park, for a Monday to Friday lodger. We're 10 mins walk away from both Bethnal Green (Central Line) and Mile End (Central, District, Hammersmith & City) tube stations, so in an ideal location for commuting to the City, Canary Wharf or Central London.

The flat is a new build, so everything is still nice and new! The bedroom is a good size (12'1" x 9'7") and is fully furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers, bedside table and wardrobe.

You'll have shared access to the bathroom and our open-plan living / kitchen / dining room, which is fully fitted with Bosch appliances – including a dishwasher and washer dryer. We also have a large terrace right on the canal. Secure bike storage is available within the block, with a gym (membership required) 1 min walk away.

We're a professional couple in our early 30s who have lived in the area for around a decade. Jamie works in financial services in the City, and Amber is a brand consultant for hotels. We tend to be out at the gym in the mornings and a couple of evenings during the week, and travel as much as we can! We're looking for an easy going professional who will enjoy the flat with us and be respectful of our home.

Rent is £800 per month, inclusive of bills. We're open to negotiation for stays of less than four nights per week. A one month's deposit is required upfront, and if you have a reference from a previous landlord that would be great, but is by no means necessary.
