Hello!

We are looking for a housemate to join our little urban family in our amazing house in Hackney. The room is available now. Our ambition is to have someone move in as soon as possible, but we can be flexible.

A little bit about the house:

The room offered is a large double bedroom with wardrobe, plenty of light and storage. The room comes with a bed and a built in wardrobe. Bedside table & freestanding clothing rack can be added upon request. The rest of the house is fully furnished.

The house is a 3 bedroom maisonette in between Homerton and Clapton station , a stone throw away from Hackney Central and right next to the lovely Chatsworth Road, with its trendy shops and Sunday market. The house has heating, double glazed windows, a front and back garden, separate toilet and bathroom, a very large kitchen and a large living room. The room is offered at £610.00 per month plus bills (Around £90.00 in bills including broadband and Netflix).

About us :

Nina is from Sweden, she is 35 years old . She works as an interior designer and is the proud mom of Sniff. Sniff is an 9 year old little mongrel dog. She is friendly and delightfully weird, and loves to hang out next to us on the couch while watching TV, among other doggy interests.

Ophelia is from Argentina/ Italy , 38 years old. She works at a school in Camden Town and has been living in London for 15 years.

We have a pretty nice "family" dynamic going on. We have enjoyed lovingly decorating our house , we hang out together quite often, take Sniffs for walks, but we also enjoy having our alone time. We also have a lovely circle of friends whom we see occasionally but we are far from being party animals anymore!

About you:

We are looking for someone who will really be the ideal fit to our little urban family. In regards to age, we are open minded. We are fairly chilled, both single and drama free, and we have a rather quiet house , so it would suit a professional who loves dogs. If you are creative, or you like things like cooking (mostly vegetarian), documentaries and you relish the idea of having a nice little sanctuary to come home to after work, then you might be our ideal match!

We have a very tidy house, where everything has its place , so someone with an eye for tidiness and who is not afraid to clean on their own initiative is a must.
We also prefer someone who is single or who does not have a tendency to bring loads of different people over, though of course we are also flexible in this if the right person comes along.
