I currently have one room available in this lovely 3 bedroom flat in Hackney, available from 14th March (can be flexible). I'm looking for an individual to fill it, no couples please.
The room is a double - £690.25 p/mth.
It's furnished with a desk, wardrobe, and two bedside tables, looking out onto the communal garden. This room shares a bathroom with just one other person (me!)
Rent includes heating. Other bills are usually around £80p/m, deposit is 6 weeks.
About the flat: it's located on the ground floor of a quiet, secure block (fob entry).
The communal living room and kitchen space is homely, light and airy, and a good place to hang out in the evening having a chat, cooking, watching questionable TV, and having a cuppa/glass of wine.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher (hurrah!), washing machine, dining table, booze shelf etc. Local shops are across the road, as is a good pub, brunch spot, and an actual large open green space: Hackney Downs - which is really nice especially in the summer.
About me: I'm a 35/f Londoner, and have lived in this flat for around 6 years. Both of my housemates are moving out, one has lived here for 5 years (moving in with a boy), the other for just over 8 months (bought own place) - and I've just filled the other room. I'd love to find one more similarly likeminded housemate who wants a happy, chilled flat to call home.
I work in central London (online marketing) and keep pretty busy seeing mates, gym-ing, writing, tennis-ing, yoga-ing, spontaneous holidays, and generally getting out and about in London. But I also like chilling out on the sofa and having a catch up when everyone's in.
Ideally I'd like to find a considerate, respectful person in their late 20s / 30s, who does most of their socialising outside the flat and want a clean, quiet place to chill out afterwards.
Transport links: the flat is a 5 minute walk to Rectory Road station (goes to Liverpool St), and a 10 minute walk to Hackney Central, Hackney Downs, Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction Overground lines. The 488 and 276 buses go to all of those places from literally outside the flat if you're lazy and want to cut that time down even more (i. e., like me). Other buses to central London (149, 243, 76, 67) are a 3-5 min walk away.
If this sounds like a good fit, get in touch telling me a bit about yourself, and your availability for viewings.
