Housemate Wanted-Double Room in East London

Bedroom

Hello! I am unfortunately stuck in Australia for the foreseeable future and looking to fill my room! This is not a move of choice and I would love to stay in this love filled home...
So we are looking for a new housemate and friend. If you’re big on food and activities, we will probably get along. Ideally you’re that brilliant balance of respectful and relaxed. We want you to feel like it’s your home too, and share the space with someone who loves where they live as much as we do.
Couples additional cost TBC.
The house:
On Broke Walk, it’s a lovely 3 bedroom terrace with a blooming courtyard, sunlit kitchen and spacious living room. There is separate bathroom and WC on the first floor (No waiting in line to pee).
The room:
The bedroom is on the first floor, has a king bed and wardrobe, drawers with four extra under bed storage containers.
The humans:
Maria and Mel are antipodeans, working as an architect and media producer. We’ve bonded over a love of food and activities. We like to keep everything quite clean and tidy. We are a pair of do-ers, so if you need something organised (trip to Portugal, Friday night dinner, military operation etc) we’re your people.
The week:
We both work full time, so like to come back to a relaxed home that’s all about shared meals, a solid Netflix session and catch up on the couch.
The weekend:
The area is great for wandering around local markets and catching up with friends at a cafe or pub. We’re Aussie so in that very cliched way are partial to a weekend trip. We are the proud owners of “guide to the best water walks in England” so we will be ticking those off over the Summer. There is a lovely front garden with compost and roses to tend to (if you so choose), canvas' to paint and wine to be drunk.
