Hackney house for 30+ woman

Hi there,

We are Britt and Marigold and we live next to Victoria Park with Cosmos the cat. Very sadly we just lost our housemate to Brexit visa drama and are now hoping to meet another wonderful woman to take her vacancy.

The house is a mid terrace two story from the 50s, it retains many of its original features which is to say that it's not the most modern of homes but it's comfortable, warm and spacious. There are 3 bedrooms, a large living room, a garden, a garage for bikes and storage and two bathrooms. The rooms are very light and your bedroom looks onto Victoria Park. We are 5 minutes from Homerton Station, 30 seconds from Victoria Park, an easy walk to Stratford, Hackney etc.

Your bedroom is small, esentially a single room with a double bed but its not crazy small. Its currently painted pink but your welcome to change the colour if that floats your boat.

The vibe…

We are aged 32-42. I have lived here for 6 years and Britt joined more recently, we would like a housemate who wants a homely vibe, likes cats and works full time out of the house. We will tend to live friendly and respectful but largely independent lives, I work in the fitness industry and my days/work are antisocial, I’m often home during the day and at work early mornings, weekends and evenings. Britt works in marketing and is always off doing things in the great outdoors.

We would new person will work 9-5 out of the house so we all get a little bit of space. Your room is small so someone who travels light or is newer to London and doesnt have a houseload of possessions to squeeze in would be ideal.

I have one cat and its likely i will get another one soon. You’ll ideally be happy feeding and loving on her while im at work or away. She is very cute and entertaining so shes worth it.

20 years of house sharing has proved that we’re at the cleaner, more organised end of the spectrum and would appreciate the same.

Please no smokers, we are lefty socialist, environmentally concerned types. No couples but BFs/GFs welcome for sleepovers.

Room rental per month is £700 and inclused bills water, power, gas, internet, tv licence and household consumables . Deposit is £600.
