I am moving out of my house to live closer to work, and looking for someone who can move in on the 1st of July. It is a cozy, all-contained room and the house is just facing the park – this is a really nice place to live.
*THE ROOM*
The room is small but is perfect for one person. You will benefit from a personal bathroom that can be accessed only from your bedroom (super convenient as you can be in your pyjamas all the time). The room also has a huge wardrobe, two shelves, and a queen size bed with an amazing mattress. The windows are facing the backyard garden so it is green and quiet. The room is dry and warm.
*THE HOUSE*
It is a three bedroom house located on two floors, and you will share the house with friendly Australian neighbours from the two other rooms. They are social and are into cooking, and will perhaps teach you some cool recipes if you ask them!
The kitchen is huge and has all the appliances that are shared. Dishwasher, mashing machine with a dryer, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer.
The flat has a spacious living room with sofas and a dining table, and a balcony, both with a beautiful park view.
There is a lot of extra storage in common areas, if you need it!
*THE AREA*
It is an absolutely gorgeous location, especially in the summer, when you you can have a picnic with your friends, read a book under a tree or go for a swim (a 50-meter open pool is under 5 minute walk) or tennis. You also have Broadway market (15 minutes walk), Hackney City Farm (25 minutes) and Colombia road market (30 minutes, if you crave a longer walk and plants).
Hackney/London Fields have an amazing community with a variety of pubs, restaurants, yoga studios, galleries, Hackney Picture house and the Empire theatre for art.
You will find a lot of retailers (Sainsbury’s, LIDL, Co-op, M&S) and smaller organic & conveniences stores close to the house.
*TRANSPORT*
Your new home is really well-connected. The closest stations are London Fields overground (6 minutes walk) that takes you to Liverpool street in 10 minutes; Hackney Central and Hackney Downs overground (10 minutes walk); Bethnal Green tube or Dalston Junction (20 minutes walk). Many busses quickly take you to East and Central London from a nearby stop.

Please get in touch with me if you want to come for a viewing or have any questions about the room.
