London Fields Penthouse Room

The Headline:

We have a room free in a large, panoramic three-bed penthouse next to London Fields. It currently has Nic (a guy) and Sarah living in it. You would share a large, clean bathroom with Sarah. Nic has his own bathroom. The penthouse is big, bright and airy with spectacular views, a sunny balcony, a big kitchen, and great furniture. A fortnightly cleaner is included in the price.

The room to rent is very light with incredible views. It consists of a small double bed, lamps, storage space and a wardrobe. There is very fast fibre broadband. There is not enough space for a desk in the room. We are looking for someone that does not WFH as we like to keep the main space mostly work free. Occasionally WFH is fine of course but we want someone who is mostly WFO.

Who with?

You’ll be sharing the flat with Nic who works in media.

Sarah, who is German and works for Bloomberg. She is at the office 3 days a week (and has a desk in her room). In normal times, she travels to Germany every 2 weeks so is often in and out. We are of course respectful of your privacy, but also very good fun to chat with in the living room. We like watching films, listening to music, and all the usual stuff.

What's the flat like?

It is perfectly located (1min from London Fields park and the overground station), 10min walk from Broadway market, 10 min walk to Hackney Central station, 15 min walk from Victoria Park).

The flat is a big penthouse that is brand new with all new furniture. A super modern kitchen, incredible views from your room and the main living area. Spectacular views from the balcony across the railway, park and to the city.

There is a security door between the street and the flat so you always feel completely secure and there’s a locked basement with a bicycle rack. CCTV is installed.

The flat is furnished as it is Nic's home, not just a flatshare. As a result we want someone who is respectful of the surroundings. There’s Netflix and Now TV on the smart TV in the living room and a washer/dryer in a utility room too. No need to hang clothes in the sitting room. Extra care must be taken with the furniture as Nic has interesting tastes!

How much?

The monthly rent is £1200 inc bills and cleaner. Rent is paid on the 1st of each month.
There will need to be £1500 deposit.

What are we looking for?

Someone easy going and tidy, who can come in and keep the flat feeling like it's filled with friends rather than just flatmates. And someone who likes hanging in their local neighbourhood A LOT...! We want someone who is mature...this is not a get super drunk and party all the time place.

Nic can organise viewings. If you like us and we like you then to move in you’ll need to complete referencing checks.
