The room is available from 16 October 2022 (possibly earlier) to share with 4 others (ages approx 25-40), easy going, educated professionals (3 female, 1 male). The house is a 4 min walk from Seven Sisters tube/overland (15 mins to Oxford Circus on the excellent Victoria Line or 15 mins to Liverpool Street on the overground). South Tottenham train station is also a couple of minutes away with links to East and West London. The area is also well served by a number of buses/night buses.
The house is in a very quiet and leafy corner of Seven Sisters with Stamford Hill and Stoke Newington/Dalston just down the road. There's a large Tesco just up the road, and Tottenham Hale tube is walk-able - with links to Stansted airport. Lot's of cool places are opening in the area, with lots of students and artists increasingly moving to the area.
The house has been decorated to a very high standard and is very clean (I pay for a cleaner to come in once a week and expect housemates to be clean and tidy too), spacious and modern and has all mod cons - washing machine, fibre-optic wireless broadband, power shower, living room backing on to South facing garden, dedicated off road parking space... New double glazed windows and doors have just been installed throughout too.
The house has loads of storage - as does the room being offered. The room has a king sized bed; desk and chair; wardrobe; drawers; bedside tables, shelves; mirror etc. It's a bright and very quiet room. The house is over 3 floors and has 3 bathrooms so there is plenty of space. The bathroom you would use is right next to the bedroom and it would be shared with just 1 other person (a very clean female).
I'm looking for an easy going non smoker between the ages of 25-40. Although the room is a double, I'm looking for just 1 person - not a couple (though I'm happy for partners to stay over up to a couple of nights a week). I'm looking for someone who will be there ideally for at least 6 months. The other housemates work in the fields of education; law enforcement and hospitality. Key words about the house/housemates are: professional; educated; quiet; clean; mature; considerate.
The price quoted includes ALL bills (gas; electric; council tax; water; broadband; tv licence; cleaner). The usual 1 months rent required as a deposit (put in a deposit protection scheme), and rent paid in advance. A standard AST contract is signed.
Without wishing to blow my own trumpet, I'm an excellent landlord who does everything by the book and is very responsive to my tenants needs (helped by the fact that this is the only property I rent out and I used to live in it).
Contact me if you're interested in arranging a viewing. Viewing is strongly recommended as not all these photo's do the house justice.
Thanks,
Russell
