Large spacious room in the heart of historic Stoke Newington available with shared wooden kitchen diner and bathroom.

This is a stunning, spacious and fully furnished sunny garden room with a double bedroom area and an area to relax on the sofa, or do some writing. It has stripped wooden floors, and is located at the back of our gorgeous and very large Victorian house. The studio benefits from being quite separate and quiet, yet attached to the rest of house, so also very cosy and homely. It has a spacious kitchen diner downstairs which looks into the garden and has stripped wooden floors and a washing machine. That kitchen/ diner is shared with the 1 other lodgers in our house who works full time and travels regularly.

We have our own kitchen and living spaces which we do not share with the lodgers, however we are all very convivial and sometimes have a drink or have dinner together.

The room would suit ONE quiet person, professional working full time, who is conscientious, clean and home loving. In their field, an artist a researcher or academic or someone involved in cultural production or the arts and sciences at large would fit in here. We have always had long term happy lodgers and expect references and previous landlord recommendation documents to be provided. The rent is inclusive of gas, electricity, council tax, water, wifi, and a cleaner. Also all repairs on the areas of the building not caused by wear and tear, are performed promptly.

We are established artists and lecturers and we live and work in the rest of the house and can therefore see to our guests needs and queries, but we also like our guest to feel independent and autonomous, and balance our interaction accordingly. We have Cats and a Dog and we expect our guest to interact and be kind and feed them and water the garden in our absence.

Our areas is quickly becoming one of the most sought after in London, for its eclectic mix of people, great restaurants, farmers markets, cafes, independent cinemas and great nightlife. Also plenty of open Green parks nearby and fitness centres and yoga schools.

Very convenient for Stoke Newington, Rectory Road, Clapton Stations into Liverpool Street as well as frequent buses to the city and the West End. Also towards Angel, Finsbury Park, Bethnal Green and the Dalston East London Line.
