Massive double bedroom available in a huge comfortable Victorian house in a quiet safe street . 10 minutes walk to Gospel Oak station overground and 8 minutes to Tufnell Park, Northern Line underground. 15 minutes to Kentish Town underground and mainline BR.

A bathroom, not ensuite, with bath, overbath shower, loo and washbasin is shared with one other. There is also a separate loo. The washing machine and microwave are in the utility room / cellar

We have local shops 3 minutes away : grocery, delicatessen, pub, post office, newsagents, dry cleaners gym, and osteopath

In Tufnell Park there are two bakers, a butcher, fruit and veg shop, fresh fish shop, chemist, dry cleaner, yoga studio and Sainsburys, as well as a framer, gym, many cafes including Ethiopian, Chinese, etc, and several pubs.

The room itself comes furnished with vintage furniture - armchairs wooden desk & chair, and a chest of drawers, and bedside table. It has a massive bay window making it feel very airy with plenty of light.. It is at the front of the house and looks over York Rise. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room

I have a friendly quiet dog, Maude, who is very much part of the household.

My other lodger is working full time. We are mainly vegetarian.

I am semi retired. My children live independently elsewhere.

I would prefer someone who is employed full time, not working from home.
