Hello we are 4 PhD/Masters students and one professional ( 3 male and 2 female), looking for a 6th person to move into a big, newly refurbished home ASAP, to take over the contract of our other housemate, who needs to leave.

Our current contract runs until October 22nd. Several of us are also planning to stay in the house next year as well, so there is the potential to find a fairly long term home here.

We are all aged between 24 and 27, and aspire to have a friendly, sociable flatshare together.

The curent tenants sometimes go out together to events in the evening. And there may very occasionally be a party at the flat. At the same time we are all very busy doing our own thing, every one is given their own space, and there is no pressure whatsoever to participate in any of these activities.

There are 4 bathrooms (two part of ensuite rooms), a huge garden, big modern kitchen, and living space.

The room is spacious and costs 741 per month. It has a double bed, wardrobe, and space for a desk.

This 741 does not include bills. Bills (wife, electricity and gas) have so far been around 19 pounds per person per month.

If you are not a student you will also have to pay council tax. With two non students living in the house, the amount of tax due over a 9 month period is (i. e. the total bill divided by 12 and multiplied by 9) is 1040. Thus you will need to pay about 520 pounds worth of council tax over the 9 months. This would bring the total monthly cost of the room to the 817 pounds stated above .
