Double room in Victorian house near Burgess Park

We have a lovely double room available in our shared house, a remarkably quiet Victorian terrace just off East Street. The room comes fully furnished with a double bed, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, bookcase and desk. Bills come to roughly £63 a month on top of rent, as well as occasional expenses for communal things like cleaning gear.

The house has two bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen with the standard amenities and a courtyard garden. The closest supermarket is Lidl, about 5 minutes’ walk away (Old Kent Road's Tesco is also a v short walk away, and Walworth Road Morrisons about 15 mins), and there are brilliant transport links via bus. The house is a comfortable walking distance to Bermondsey, Borough and Elephant & Castle with all their great pubs, restaurants and so on.

We (the incumbent housemates) are three professionals in our mid twenties/and 30 (two guys and a girl), looking for someone who is friendly, considerate and tidy. We all have our own lives but we also like to have the occasional drink and hang out together, so we'd welcome someone sociable!
