ABOUT US
We're looking for a new housemate to move into our 3 story, 4 bed place in Brixton. It's a lovely townhouse on a quiet street with parking and super friendly neighbours.

Currently living here is myself (Jess), my boyfriend, and our new housemate Pete (who is awesome - we lucked out!).

We are all young professionals - charity workers and teachers. We love having a social house where we cook together, spend the evenings watching films, hosting get togethers, going to the pub etc. But we also often do our own thing and have downtime, so it's the best of both worlds. If you like a BBQ 🍔, games of scrabble (who doesn't?!), and random (sometimes questionable) baked goods, then you'll fit right in.

Oh, the landlord is also pretty chill - he lives in America and has been great to us during the pandemic.

THE AREA
The location is amazing and the best place I've lived in London by far. We are an 8-10 minute walk from both Brixton underground station (Victoria line, only 12 minutes to Central London) and Herne Hill train station.

We are a 5 minute walk from Brixton Market which has loads of amazing bars, restaurants and shops that we love to take advantage of!

Brockwell park is only a 10 minute walk away as well, perfect for summer picnics, dog watching, lovely morning walks and a splash in the Lido 🏊‍♀️

THE SPACE
The room is furnished with a big double bed, dressers, desk and a wardrobe. There is loads of floor space and an amazing side room, which you could use as a makeup space, yoga studio, art room, walk in closet, office space - whatever you fancy!

There's a nice sized shared kitchen with all the amenities, a great living/dining space which is super cosy and has a TV, Xbox, dining table, and stacks of board games and books that we all share.

There is a little garden out back that we love to sit in during the summer 🍃

There's also a bathroom upstairs with a bath, shower (amazing water pressure!), and toilet, and a separate downstairs loo.

BILLS
Bills vary from around £70 each during the summer to around £100 each during the winter. They include gas, electric, TV licence, fast wifi, water and council tax.
