Small bright room in quiet green neighbourhood

I am looking for someone interesting, socially conscious and internationally minded, who is willing to use natural cleaning products, recycle as much as possible, and avoids factory produced meat. The room is probably taken now, 16th March.

The house is chemical perfume free, and it is essential that you respect this.

I have got back to everyone who has so far, and expect to confirm with people today. I will leave the ad open for a few days though, in case things don't work out.

I need either someone to pay rent and bills for the room or to pay a share of the bills and do 6 1/2 hours work a week, mostly helping me with my boat restoration and some garden construction, as I am somewhat physically disabled. There may possibly be another room available soon.

I work from home a lot, and the house reflects this. The decor is not new, but it is cared for.
The kitchen and bathroom are clean and tidy but small, and there is no shared living room. The washing machine is in a covered space in the yard. There is no tv license - if you need this it will be extra.

The room has a wood floor, single (extendable) bed, wardrobe, storage space and a desk and a view of the garden.
Housing Benefit is possible, but I need to have the rent covered in advance.

The rent is reasonable. £260 a month covers the rent and £150 a month the bills and council tax (band D). The house is in South East London, zone 3 - 5 minutes from the overground station to London Bridge and Southbank, which takes 30 minutes.
There is also free street parking.

It is important that we would be compatible housemates, so please tell me about your interests and outlook, and your awareness of chemical sensitivity, before I email photos.
