Hello,

I have a double room available in a 3 bed two bath flat located in Westminster (closest tube is Pimlico a 5 minute walk away whilst Westminster tube station is a 10 minute walk).
The room is available from beg. of August for a minimum term of 18 months.

AMOUNT

The rent is 280 per week.
Bills are approx 30 pounds per week per person of which:
- 9 pound per week approx. payable to me for water, tv license, and broadband (which are bills that for ease I have kept in my name).
- 20 pounds per week approx. to be paid or organized with the girls which include council tax, electricity and gas plus a cleaning lady that comes bi-weekly to clean communal areas.

The total amount room+all bills and taxes would be approx. 1340 GBP.

THE ROOM

The room is almost the size of an apartment for London standards as it is in excess of 25 square meters with a big double bed, three sash windows and a three meter long closet with plenty of storage space.
The room also has many shelves for books , plasma smart tv on the wall and a desk.

THE FLATMATES and COMMON AREAS

The room shares a bathroom with another room currently occupied by a late 20s year old professional girl (Emma) who is very responsible, nice and tidy.
The shared bathroom is big with two sash windows it has both a bath tub and a big shower.
There is a shared kitchen with an eat-in bar for three.

Provided are all sorts of appliances from the obvious crockery and several cooking pots to microwave, washer/dryer, Nespresso coffe machine, steamer , dishwasher, griller etc. The kitchen has also a traditional oven and has an electric stove.
There's also a shared lounge room with a big and very comfy (beware you won't get up once you sit down) three seat sofa, two armchairs and a dining table for six.

There is another double bedroom with ensuite which is currently occupied by a 30s year old Greek PhD student (Petroula) who is very sweet and reliable.

THE IDEAL FLATMATE

I am looking for someone who is respectful of other people's privacy and personal space and items but can also share happy moments and time together.
All of the girls that have lived in my apartment have kept in touch and have become life long friends so this is what I am looking for, not just a tenant to pay the rent.
This flat used to be my home so I want the place to be lived in happily by people who take care of the spaces as if they were their own and in harmony with one another.

I am looking for professional non smoking preferably aged between 25 and 38, with no pets and no couples. Apologies for the list of many no nos.

THE BUILDING

The apartment is situated on the first floor of an Edwardian building without elevator. It's inside a courtyard so it is very quiet although the room faces the street but as there are no pubs or bars underneath it is still very silent.
There is a Sainsbury's supermarket super close by and it is walking distance to practically anything in central london.
