The room is a simply furnished single (single bed, chest of drawers and bookshelf). The rent includes council tax, service charges and water rates. Gas, electricity, TV licence, wifi etc will be approximately £45 per month, per person. The tenancy is 6 months initially.

The building is on a quiet lane with free parking space. The flat has broadband, is centrally heated, double glazed and carpeted. Linoleum is fitted in the kitchen and bathroom/WC. The flat is located by Chiswick Bridge, handy for pleasant river walks, which give access to Kew Retail Park and the National Archives in one direction and Barnes, Hammersmith in the other. Richmond Park is a short cycle ride away with easy access to Kingston. Local amenities, shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs are all close by, but not so close that there is noise at night.

The flat is superbly located for travel. Over ground stations Mortlake (5-7 minute) and Barnes Bridge (10 minutes) are a short distance away. South West trains are direct to either Clapham Junction, Vauxhall, Waterloo (20 minutes) in one direction, or Richmond (7 minutes), Twickenham, Staines, Reading in the other. Isleworth, Kew Bridge and Brentford are easily accessible. The flat is also very close to several bus routes along the A316 towards Richmond, or in the other direction to Hammersmith, for the District, Piccadilly, Hammersmith & City lines. Kew Gardens (District line), is a 10 minute walk along the river. The closest motorway is M4, less than a mile away and 20 minutes from Heathrow.
