Gorgeous Room Available in gorgeous house, in gorgeous area… immediately!

Professionals and mature/PhD students only please. Smokers OK but outside spaces only please. No Agent! No Fees!
One lovely single room (fits double) available now at £800 including ALL bills.

Come see, and maybe live in, our beautiful abode by the river in Barnes/Mortlake. We enjoy a very happy household, we’re LBGTQ+ friendly and have a great combination of doing our own thing and hanging out together.

The Room:

Great light airy room that is newly carpeted and sports a built-in bookshelf, 3 drawer side table, another bookshelf plus shoe and clothes racks.

The House:

This stunning property is over two floors in a maisonette style building on a beautiful road just a minutes walk from the river. Totally kitted out house with gorgeous wooden floors throughout most of the building.
We have a large bright communal living room with a full surround sound hi-fi system, working fireplace to cosy up to in the winter months and beautiful desking for working from home.

There is a spotless shared bathroom with both a large full bath and over bath power shower.

The kitchen comes with ‘all mod cons’ to include a hidden dishwasher, huge fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer etc etc – and way too many devices with which to make really good coffee!

The kitchen has been recently upgraded & modernised, is very bright and opens out onto our balcony, which leads down to our own private garden for summer al fresco dining.

The Peeps:-

Us: We are 3 professionals, Paul (43 – Music Journalist and Rock Climber), Lauren (39 – Nutritionist and Singer), Richard (28 - Project Manager and almost never home but hilarious when he is).
We really get on well, we look after each other but never step on each others toes and respects each others space/privacy. Occasionally we all head out to an event together, friends and guests are always welcome to stay over.
We have a high level of trust, we are all very clean and tidy type peeps and all pitch in to ensure a smooth and happy household.

You: Ideally also a professional or mature student (sorry youngsters this isn’t a party house) who values harmonious living in a beautiful property in a beautiful area with beautiful people. If you’re warm, friendly, honest, trustworthy, clean and tidy we’ll probably take ya. Arrive for the viewing dressed as a Unicorn and the room is yours!

The Area:

One of the key attractions here is the area, we are just off Mortlake High Street, very close to Barnes Village and it’s just gorgeous. Some truly lovely local pubs and restaurants, lots of green space, duck pond, farmers market and all that Jazz (yes we even have a famous Jazz club).
Two Sainsbury’s, a Marks n Sparks and a Tesco all within 10 mins walk, a large and eye wateringly expensive Waitrose about 15 mins walk.

Transport is great as we are equidistant between both Barnes Bridge and Mortlake overground stations (under 10 mins walk) getting to Waterloo in 20 mins and other direction Richmond in 15 mins.
A bus into Hammersmith will get you everywhere else in London via the Tube.
The N22 bus (night bus) will bring you all the way from Piccadilly, Green Park, Hyde Park, Chelsea, Putney etc nearly to our doorstep.
Personally, I scoot from the house to my office in Hammersmith, in under 15 mins!

Rent and Deposit etc

No Agent! No Fees! ALL bills are included, we are aware some people state all bills included when that isn’t exactly the place, when we say all bills include we mean all bills.

The room is £800 p/m + £800 deposit. One full months-notice either side required and long lets preferred.
