Large Double Room in Maisonette w/ Garden

Bedroom 1

My current housemate is moving out the end of April to live with her boyfriend, so I am looking to fill a large double room in a ground floor maisonette house anytime from the 1st of May (could be made earlier for the perfect flatmate).

This is the ground floor flat of a converted house, and has a private back garden (and space for storing a bike). The landlords are reasonable and open to discussing pet cats (not dogs I’m afraid).

The flat is two bedrooms, one large bathroom, (large storage room/cloakroom under the stairs for those suitcases and clutter), the lounge is separate from the Kitchen, (which has a dishwasher!). It also has a fireplace with an electric fire/heater, so really cosy in the winter! Each room features really high ceilings and period fireplaces. The bedroom comes furnished with double bed, bedside table and both a built-in wardrobe and stand alone.

A bit about you and me. I'm not really looking for someone that will just stick to their room (two ships passing in the night type thing) but someone that wouldn't mind chilling in the lounge or enjoying a glass of wine over dinner or in the summer months heading to the pub in the evening. I am house proud and like to make the place cozy (you wait until christmas!) and would want someone else that respects this and is clean and tidy too. For me it isn't just about filling the room, it is about finding the right person!

The area is lovely, a 10 minute walk to Barnes Pond, and a 1 minute walk to the the river, where the thames path runs past a number of pubs. The night bus stops pretty much just outside the door, as well as regular buses to Hammersmith (Piccadilly/District/Hammersmi th&City/Circle Line) they run every 4 minutes in the morning and evenings. It is also equidistant between Barnes Bridge and Mortlake train station, both a 5-10 minute walk away, with trains running into Waterloo (takes 20 minutes).
