Lovely Double Room in Spacious Streatham Home

Hi!
We are Rachel, Stacey and Janna and we’re looking for a 4th housemate for our lovely house. We’re all professionals but have quite different work backgrounds.

It’s a spacious place with a whole ground floor of communal areas: 2 living rooms, a kitchen/diner and conservatory leading onto a decked garden.

The double room is a lovely size located on the first floor and has a window overlooking the garden.

We love our home and look after it really well. We’re very relaxed people and the vibe of the house is respectful and laid back. We love wine and trash TV and hang out together quite a bit (especially because we can’t go anywhere else right now!!) but we also have our alone time in our rooms when we feel like it.

The type of housemate we’re looking for is someone who’s no drama, respectful and wants to keep the house looking clean and tidy. We also hope our new housemate will be up for a glass of wine every so often! Bonus if you love plants as we are slowly building up our indoor urban jungle!

In terms of location, the house is on a quiet street just off Streatham High Rd making it close to plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. Wherever you need to commute to for work, it’s a great really easy - there’s a bus stop at the end of the road that heads straight to Brixton and central. And there’s also three main line stations within walking distance.

We are 3 minutes walk from Tooting Bec Common and the lido and another short walk away from Streatham Common and the Rookery so lots of lively green spaces nearby!

All bills are included in the rent but during the winter months we add an extra £10 per month each towards heating bills.

The room will be available from September.

It comes unfurnished apart from the mattress and wardrobe which belongs to the landlord. Desk, desk chair, bed side table and bed frame can be bought if needed.
