Four young professionals are seeking a new flatmate to live in our happy Victorian terraced house. It’s in a great location between Brixton and Clapham – just a short walking distance to both Brixton (10 minutes) and Clapham North (~5 minutes) underground stations.
The available room (mine) is a large double on the ground floor. It comes with a double bed, a chest of drawers, a desk and chair and wardrobe. It also has a lovely fireplace and mantelpiece.
I am going travelling so happy to leave helpful things in the room if you are in london short term and don’t want to buy a lot of big stuff - eg duvets, clean sheets etc.
The payments are:
Deposit: £500
Monthly rent: £560
Bills: £140 (inc. all bills, weekly cleaner and communal cleaning/upkeep products)
You will be living with two girls, Kelly and Jenny, and two guys, Marco and Gareth. We are ONLY LOOKING FOR A GIRL I'm afraid!
The house itself has 3 floors, 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one of which was recently redone. There is a big living room with a shared TV, a big kitchen on the ground floor that opens out onto the garden. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, table, and two fridge freezers.
We’re all in our late 20s/early 30s, and when our busy schedules allow we like to eat together, have a drink and a chat or watch a film. We're a mildly sociable lot and get a lot of use out of the garden in the summer, and spend a lot of time in the big kitchen in winter. We’re clean, respectful of each other and house-proud - so you would need to be too!
Our perfect housemate will have a healthy work/life balance, especially at the moment with lots of us working from home. We’re all nice people, and pretty chill, so are looking for someone similar who can slot into our lovely friendly home!
