One of our housemates is moving in with his girlfriend and we’re looking for a friendly faces to take his place.

The large room is in a very spacious house overlooking leafy Kensington Memorial Gardens in Notting Hill/Ladbroke Grove.

Location:
- 10 mins walk to Latimer Road and Ladbroke Grove tubes
- Short bus ride/walk to Notting Hill Gate/Shepherds Bush
- Minutes from cafés, bars and restaurants of Portobello/Golbourne Rd

The property:
- large en suite bedroom available - bright and airy, with bath and a large double wardrobe.
- Furniture can be negotiated, if helpful
- Large kitchen/living area
- Garden with BBQ
- Garage with loads of storage space - also doubles as our home gym.
- Brand new dishwasher and washing machine, tumble dryer
- Gated off-road parking
- Cleaner comes once a fortnight

A bit about us: we are in our 30s, a designer, teacher and public affairs worker. We are pretty active and into a range of sports and hobbies, plus all the usual cultural/foodie activities that London has to offer.

We’ve historically done Hampstead Heath park run as a regular Saturday fixture, and like to get out of London in the car for country walks/adventures/pubs/maybe a spot of wild swimming whenever we can. Got a camping trip or two planned for the summer as well.

We’re looking for someone who want to share a friendly, respectful house, and is up for joining us for cooking, films (or getting into a new series together), drinks in the neighbourhood, days out, and a general relaxed and sociable atmosphere. We’ve never had any issues with bills/cleaning/buying stuff for the house etc. as we get on really well and find that everyone is always happy to get on and do their bit. The cleaner also helps with that...!

We’d really love to keep this atmosphere and so we’re looking for someone who is keen on living with friends rather than just seeing each other as housemates. It would be nice to keep the feeling of coming home to ‘family’ at the end of a work day!
