"Notting Hill" was filmed round the corner and the flat is next to Portobello Market. The busses are the No. 23 (to Oxford Street & it is a night bus ), the No. 52 ( to Knightsbridge ), the No. 452 ( to Knightsbridge & Battersea ), No. 7, No. 70. Tubes - Notting Hill Gate and Ladbroke Grove. Padding Station is a few stops on the No. 23 and to the Heathrow Express. There are Boris bikes and car pools ( no trouble with parking and they can be hired for up to 4 days ) near by.

The location is in a Conservation Area and is excellent for getting into Central London. It is also very quiet at night as the room backs onto a school - which is empty at night. It is not so quiet during the Notting Hill Carnival!

There are two dogs - so dog lovers only. Gus is 11 years old and lively. Aggie is 3 full of the joys of spring and loves physical contact.

There is a hole-in-the-wall nearby, Britain's second oldest cinema 4 minutes away, world famous restaurants ( Beach Blanket Babylon etc. ), Sainsbury's, Holland and Barrett, Tesco's within minutes, busses on the doorsteps and good access to Central London. The shops range from Argent Provocateur to Poundland, L. K. Bennett, Joseph, Reiss, jewellery designers, Paul Smith, Leon Max and one of the best organic shops / restaurant ( Daylesford ) are all round the corner. Two very continental bakeries for fresh daily bread.

The rent includes all the taxes and all the bills. There is broadband and WiFi. The deposit is £1,600 and one months rent in advance. References from previous landlords / university or employers are required. A photo with your dog would also be great!
