We’re looking for a fifth housemate who would like to be part of a communal and friendly household. We often have house dinners together, play cards, watch films and do crafts. We are a supportive and caring home looking out for each other through this difficult time. We are looking for someone who is queer friendly or an ally. We strongly encourage POC to join us (one flatmate is from India).

The room is beautiful, bright and spacious with big windows, a private patio and comes with a wardrobe, bed and a chest of drawers. The landlord also just renovated the room, added extra insulation and painted the walls, so it's all new and fresh! The house is wonderful with lots of communal space. There’s a great garden, a big kitchen and a living room. You’re close to Hackney Marshes, parks and green spaces for that all-important lockdown nature hit.

We’re a cute and social bunch and really feel like making this house a home for every one of us. During lockdown, Molly has discovered that they really like watching epic movies on their projector with the whole house crew. Richa has been cooking everything under the sun and recently started knitting socks. Rose has adorned every wall in her room with sparkles to make life more bearable. Kathrin has started washing the leaves of their plants. Very tenderly and regularly. We work in various fields across charity, security, teaching and research.

Accessibility info: 5 steps to the main entrance of the flat, 3 steps in corridor between main entrance and room entrance, 1 step to the garden, no phone entry system.

Our landlord does not accept people who are students or on benefits. Alas, no pets.
