Hi, we are Danny & Jane the property owners/current occupiers and are on the move! We are looking for a friendly couple or single person to rent our lovely, large, two bedroom maisonette with a big South facing balcony.
We have lived here for 5 years and during that time have decorated throughout and installed new windows and carpets, it is a very homely house and offers a generous amount of living space compared to many properties in London.
There is a catch, you'll need to be comfortable sharing with our existing mid-week lodger (Sun-Thu). He is a lovely guy from Manchester, who we rarely see; he arrives late on Sunday evening, is gone very early most days and leaves Thursday morning. It feels like he is never here and is a small compromise for effectively having the house to yourself at a very reasonable price.

Downstairs
W/C – with toilet and sink
Kitchen/dining room - Inc. dishwasher, American style fridge/freeze, washer/drying machine, cooker, folding table with 4 chairs.
Hallway - we use the area under the stairs as a study/work area, it’s cosy and functional, ideal for working from home.
Livingroom – Leading out to the large balcony, furnished Inc. three-seater sofa, various shelves, rug, and TV stand (TV not provided).
Balcony - large south facing balcony with, artificial grass and lots of potted plans (ideal for those who like to grow) and a table and chair set.
Upstairs
Bedroom 1/Double bedroom/Your bedroom – Newly refurbished room with double bed/mattress with under bed storage, double wardrobe (his and hers), large chest of drawers and 2 x bed side cabinets
Bedroom 2/Double bedroom/Lodger’s bedroom - Newly refurbished room with double bed/mattress with under bed storage, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, 2x bedside cabinets, box storage cupboard.
Bathroom (shared) - Bath/shower, toilet, sink, and storage cupboard. This room was fully refurbished 4 years ago and has recently been redecorated.
Storage – There is a large storage cupboard on the hallway.
Local amenities –
The closest tube is Caledonian Road (Piccadilly Line) is a 5-minute walk away and one stop from Kings Cross. There are countless bus stops locally and if you’re feeling energetic the West End is only a 40-minute walk away, or quicker if you like to run!
Kings Cross, Camden Town, Kentish Town and Holloway are a 10-15-minute walk away. There are lots of nice pubs, bars, and cafes locally. For groceries we either go to Holloway or Camden or to the local Co-op on North Road.

Broadband/Wifi - included.
Gas, electricity, water - will be invoiced quarterly upon receipt of the bill. Currently our monthly bills for gas, electric and water are c.£65 per month.
Cleaner - To ensure the cleanliness in the property is kept at a consistent standard, a cleaner (we have a lovely regular cleaner) will be provided once every two weeks for three hours at a cost of £15 per week, this will be in addition to the rent.
