We’re looking for a kind, considerate, friendly female to join a bright, airy, homely flat in Muswell Hill.

The room is available from mid March. With the exact date to be confirmed.

The room is the largest bedroom in the flat with high ceilings at the front of the house. It has a double bed and a built in wardrobe along with another set of built in cupboards above the wardrobe. There's plenty of space for any additional furniture you would like to bring.

In the last 3 years the flat has had a brand new kitchen installed with a dishwasher, washing machine, gas stove top, electric oven and fridge freezer and has been completely repainted. The flat is split across two levels with the 3 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs and the open plan living room and kitchen downstairs which makes the flat feel roomy and spacious. There's one bathroom shared between 3 which has both a shower and a bath along with a chest of drawers for storage. There is no letting agency involved, we deal directly with the landlord who we have always had a good relationship with and who has always been really helpful and easy going.

The flat is homely and peaceful, so we’re looking for a like-minded person who is looking for that rather than a party vibe. We like to socialize, but also want the flat to be a quiet place to rest and relax after a busy day, so would be great to find someone who is looking for a similar balance!
We have a cleaner once a fortnight but keep the flat clean and tidy and are looking for someone who is also happy to tidy up after themselves.

We both work in fashion so are quite busy with work and seeing friends and doing classes so we don’t see each other all the time but it is lovely to catch up when we are home at the same time.

About Muswell Hill
Muswell Hill is a lovely leafy area with a bustling high street and good transport connections. It was top of healthiest high streets in London for 2018. The high street has a Sainsburys, M&S and Waitrose as well as a Planet Organic, a Pure Gym and an Everyman Cinema. There are lots of cute independent coffee shops as well as a few farmer's markets close by on the weekends. Our house is about a 10 minute walk from the high street or 5 minutes on the bus. We are also a 20 minute walk from Alexandra Palace and a 50 minute walk to Hampstead Heath. There's also Highgate Woods and Highgate village nearby.

Transport Connections
The 134 and 43 buses leave from just outside the house and both travel to Highgate station which is the closest tube. The journey is usually 10-20 minutes in the morning depending on traffic. You can also take the 43 bus to Highbury and Islington station approx. 40 mins to connect with the Victoria line.

Alternatively you can walk or catch the 134 and 43 up to the roundabout where the W7 bus leaves from Muswell Hill Broadway to Finsbury Park connecting you with the Victoria and Piccadilly line in about 40 minutes door to door in rush hour.

At first I was a bit put off by the need to catch a bus to the tube but after living here I can say that it really isn't a hassle, the buses come very regularly and even in peak hour I can get almost anywhere in an hour.

Bills
The rent includes all bills including Council Tax, TV license, electricity, gas, broadband. We don't have Sky. Additional bills to this is the cleaner every fortnight.

The deposit for the room is £550.
