A spacious en-suite double bedroom is available in a 2 Bedroom flat, based a 5 minute walk from New Cross & New Cross Gate stations. With stunning views from the 10th floor, the flat has one big open plan living / kitchen / dining area and a balcony that looks over the common. There is underfloor heating throughout.

Seeking a flatmate to move in from the end of January. I’m a 28 year old professional working in logistics consultancy, splitting my time between working from home and the office. Happy to consider one person or a couple, looking for someone who is friendly, tidy and sociable, who enjoys a few drinks down the pub and the occasional Netflix binge, but also respects our own space.

The Room:
Floor to ceiling window with views onto the common which lets in plenty of light. En-suite shower room with a huge mirror and a heated towel rail. The room comes unfurnished, but I do have an almost brand new black metal bedframe and mattress that I’m happy to provide for free if required.

Living Area:
Large open plan living / dining / kitchen area with a Smart TV, large three-seater sofa, armchair, dining table and desk. The balcony overlooks the common and has uninterrupted views of Canary Wharf. The kitchen has all the usual facilities plus a dishwasher. Floor to ceiling window with an amazing view of the city (the Shard, St Pauls, London Eye, etc).

Additional:
Main bathroom contains a bath with overhead shower. There is a large utility room with plenty of storage space.

Location:
The flat is 5 minutes walk from New Cross and New Cross Gate stations (Overground and National Rail), 10 minutes to Deptford (National Rail) and Deptford Bridge (DLR) stations. It’s a 6 minute train from New Cross to London Bridge. Great cycling and bus routes nearby (there is a secure cycle room under the building).

Just off New Cross High Street, there are plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants nearby. Deptford High Street is 10 minutes walk away, and you can walk to both Peckham and Greenwich in under half an hour (or 10 minute bus rides).
