Double room available in New Cross. The flat is bright and airy with high ceilings. We're on a quiet street in front of Fordham Park, but we're two mins from the high street with pubs, charity shops, coffee shops, Sainsbury's, everything you need.

Room & bills: double room is available now until July 27th 2022. We'd prefer to have someone agree to move in asap for the full duration of the tenancy, referencing may take up to around 3 weeks. Rent is £566 not including bills; council tax is £57, internet £6.70, gas & electric could vary from around £10-25. The bedroom comes furnished with a bed, bedside table and wardrobe. There's room for a desk and chair if you want to bring these yourself.

Transport: 5-10 min walk from New Cross and overground links from New Cross Gate, both a 6 min train ride into London Bridge. Marquis of Granby bus stop a few mins away with links everywhere really!

Current flatmates are Charlotte and Shona, both teaching English in secondary schools. Charlotte enjoys baking, Shona enjoys disco music, both love theatre trips, Drag Race and other trashy shows, adding to our communal bookshelf and the odd arty craft. Both vegetarian and sociable, we love an outing or a natter after work. We like to drink but aren't a massive party household. We're also both queer - the new flatmate will have to be cool with that! Better yet if you're queer yourself.

We're happy to have a student flatmate if you're willing to pay council tax.
