Furnished en-suite double room with built-in wardrobe in a lovely modern two-bedroom third floor flat. The flat is in a gated development and there is a lift. Moments away from amenities and transport links - under 10 minutes on the bus to Arnos Grove tube, and close to bus links into Finchley or Archway. New Southgate train station is only 5 minutes away on foot and has good links into the city (20 minutes to King’s Cross).

It's only a few minutes walk to Tesco Express and the Co-op as well as Friern Barnet medical centre, and there's a community library just across the road. The development the flat is in backs onto Princess Park Manor which has a Nuffield Health club. There are plenty of parks nearby for runs/walks!

There are two good sized storage cupboards off the hallway, a generous lounge with a balcony, a modern fitted kitchen with a built-in washer/dryer, built in fridge and freezer, electric oven, and a four-ring gas hob. There is a shared bathroom which has a proper bath. The bedrooms both have floor-to-ceiling windows with lovely views.

The room is furnished with a double bed, bedside table, bookcase, and chest of drawers. The built in wardrobes are very spacious and the bed has good ground clearance so there is plenty of storage! The room also comes with a TV.

There is a very sweet resident cat who is 8 years old and fully housetrained. He will try to steal food at any opportunity so leaving anything unattended is not an option! He is a little wary around new people at first, and does not like sudden/loud noises, but he will warm up to anyone who offers him treats. (His litter box is in my bedroom.) He is used to being the only pet in the home so unfortunately I can't live with anyone who would be bringing their own pet.

A little about me: I'm 32, from Aberdeen, and work in procurement for a charity based in Victoria. I work from home 3-4 days a week. I like a peaceful, quiet environment at home - I enjoy having a chat over a glass of wine or two, movie nights, etc, and my ideal flatmate would be someone like me who is respectful of other people's space but happy to chill in the living room together, someone who's looking for a home and not just a house, a friend and not just a flatmate!
