Short-term let: A double room in a large, welcoming, two-bedroom flat, in Zone 2 of London, on the vibrant North-East London boundary. Your room is a good-sized double, with a blue-tooth speaker that you can connect your music to, plus a television that has all the digital channels, including Netflix, connected to a Tivo box to record whatever you want. The room has a double bed, wardrobe, cabinet and an armchair and can also have a table to work from, if you would one.

The large sitting room also has a TV which, like your bedroom, has Netflix, Amazon Prime and iPlayer, as well as many, many DVDs. There's a dining table, for when you'd prefer not to eat on the sofa. Plus there's a very large garden, too.

It's in a brilliant location. Very quiet on one side. With great cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs all in walking distance. Plus some lovely parks, the canal and vintage shops, too!

In detail: Turn left out of the flat & you're directly on the cute park of Newington Green. Stoke Newington & Clissold Park (and its connected gym and leisure centre) are a 10 minute walk; while Islington is 10 minutes by bus, in the other direction. As is Finsbury Park.

Turn right out of the flat & in 5 mins you're in trendy, buzzing Dalston, and just 10 minutes from Shoreditch, Old Street, Spitafields and Liverpool Street.

So, there's lots to do, locally. - including many ways to relax, depending on your mood. There are also great transport connections, so it's very easy to get to places like Oxford Street and Soho; Waterloo and the Southbank; Old Street, Bank and The City; and Shoreditch, Brick Lane and Liverpool Street. All can be reached within half an hour. Underground stations for the Victoria Line and Northern Lines are nearby, taking you to places like Brixton and Clapham. And the London Overground, only a five minute walk away (well, 7 minutes, to be precise...), also makes it easy to get to South, as well as West London, too.

About me, your flatmate: I have a creative job and am very easy going. My only request would be that you use the garden to smoke. My job and social life take me out a lot, so I'm often not home and you'll have the place to yourself quite a lot... When I am there, I can leave you to it. But equally I'm happy to catch up over a glass of wine. Plus I watch a lot of TV and films - particularly comedy - for work. So, if that interests you, then we could watch stuff together in the living room. Or even go to see a movie or a play, out and about around London. There are great theatres and cinemas nearby. Again, I'm very easy, so it can work either way.
