Hello,

We are a French (Italian and Spanish at heart)-South African/British couple and have lived and worked in different countries, mainly South Africa, France the USA, Spain and Belgium. We have now been living in London for over 10 years and bought a lovely flat in a wonderful neighborhood. I work in academia and my husband Adam has a software company.

We are relocating to Frome in Somerset. Adam will be based there full time. I will still spend two to three nights a week in London.

I am looking for someone who would like to rent our 2 bed flat and would be happy to have me in two to three nights during the week in the spare bedroom.
You will be staying in the Master bedroom and when I am not in the flat, you will be welcome to use the spare room.

The ideal start date would be April 8th 2023.

We offer a modern, clean and cosy flat in a very nice Victorian House. We are located in the historic and vibrant Islington neighbourhood, close to the heart of London, in between Newington Green and Dalston (N1 4PL). Our flat is 5 minutes walk from Dalston Kingsland, less than 10 minutes walk from Dalston Junction or Canonbury. It is extremely well connected by bus (15 minutes to Angel or Old street, 20 minutes to liverpool street or the Barbican).

The Master bedroom is spacious, clean, with a very comfortable kind size bed and memory foam pillows and amazing views from the roof windows. It is en-suite (includes a shower room and a WC). That is the room we will be offering.

There is also a lovely second bathroom with a bath, a shower, heated towel rail and space to put bathroom equipment.

The flat comes fully furnished, with all the kitchen utensils and tools.

We have a superfast internet connection (fibre optic).

The price (£1500 per month) DOES NOT include bills.

Our current (monthly) bills are:
Cleaner: £220 pcm
Energy: £120 pcm
Council Tax: £143 pcm
Internet: £26 pcm
Water: £40 pcm

The bills will be shared pro-rata with me, depending on the nights I will spend in London.

Overall, the flat is energy and water efficient, but the electricity and water bills may vary depending on your consumption.

We have a wonderful housekeeper who comes everyweek (we pay her £220 per month). She keeps the flat spotless.

My previous flat-mates would describe me as easygoing, sociable, respectful and open-minded.

We love our neighbourhood, we will be delighted to give you tips which are all within a 5 minute walk.
